License types
Site licenses
A site license will allow you to install StarDrop on an unlimited number of computers throughout a single site, regardless of size.
Floating licensesFloating licenses will allow you to install StarDrop on an unlimited number of computers throughout a single site. However, the number of simultaneous active users is controlled by the floating license options you choose.
Every time a user starts StarDrop it will hold one of the available licenses and only release it once the user closes StarDrop. If a user tries to start StarDrop when no licenses are available it will start in 'viewer' mode enabling the user to view previously created files, but not edit/save new ones.
A fixed license allows StarDrop to be installed by an individual user on a single computer.
Any combination of optional modules can be chosen with any of the licensing approaches. If you wish to connect your own predictive models to StarDrop using the StarDrop model server it is not a requirement that you license the ADME QSAR Module for which the server is typically made available.
