Hello,

I wrote on the download section a comment but it does not seem to appear on the forum section or latest posts.
So I will redo it here.

We managed to have the SOAP call from PP to Stardrop working to calculate the models. However it is a bit slow (600 compounds in 9 minutes). I was wondering it is possible to use the SOAP batch method to reduce the number of calls between the servers, it may speed up a bit the process?
Thank you.

Also do you plan to have the Scoring functions in the SOAP component? That would be great.

Cheers,

Jérémy

Thanks for the suggestions. Our current implementation of the SOAP interface is very simple and does not allow for batch submission of models, but this is something we are investigating and hope to have available sometime next year. In the current release of StarDrop we changed the code to use a batch process when submitting data sets from the StarDrop client to PipelinePilot protocols, which did significantly improve the performance.

The addition of scoring to the SOAP service is not currently possible, but again our development plan includes work which will make this possible in the future. We will of course post details of this work here as it progresses.
