We're really pleased to be able to announce our first User Group Meeting and Workshop which we're going to be holding at the ACS Fall Meeting in Boston in August. We'll be welcoming two guest speakers and running a hands-on session and you can find out more from our meetings page. We're looking forward to welcoming a mixture of current users and those who'd like to learn more. If you're interested then you can register here.

The agenda for our User Group Meeting and Workshop at the ACS Fall Meeting in Boston has just been finalised:

• Welcome and introduction - Matt Segall, CEO, Optibrium
• Quickly targeting high quality, balanced compounds in hit-to-lead - hands-on StarDrop workshop:
• Issues in the interpretation, understanding and use of Drug Discovery data - presentation by Professor Terry Stouch, Adjunct Professor of Chemistry and Biology, Duquesne University and consultant to biotech and pharma
• Medicinal chemists are people too, and that's a problem - presentation by Dr Mikel Moyer, VP Molecular Discovery, Epizyme
• Wrap-up - Matt Segall

The workshop will be on Wednesday 25th August from 12.30pm until 2.30pm in room 201A of the Boston Convention Center. Lunch will be provided.

We'd like to thank all of the participants in the StarDrop User Group and Workshop last week at the ACS Fall Meeting. In particular, we'd like to thank our two speakers, Terry Stouch and Mike Moyer for their very stimulating presentation.
