When installing the new version of StarDrop, please remember to uninstall any existing versions first. If this is not done, when you attempt to run StarDrop you will probably see a message from Microsoft complaining about not being able to find the MSVCRT90 library.
If you have already experienced this, you can fix it manually by deleting the files stardrop.exe.manifest and keyinstaller.exe.manifest from the installation directory (by default this is c:\program files\stardrop).
